Aims
The International Research E-Journal on Business and Economics (Creative Technology Management), the journal aims to serve as an international forum for the exchange of knowledge, research findings, creative works, and best practices contributed by academics, researchers, and professional practitioners. It seeks to advance theoretical, empirical, and applied research that addresses contemporary challenges and opportunities in business, economics, and creative technology–driven environments.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, and review articles in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Business Administration and Management
- Economics and Applied Economics
- Creative Technology Management
- Arts and Cultural Management
- Music and Entertainment Management
- Sport Management and Sport Technology
- Event and Festival Management
- Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Design and Innovation Management
- Digital Transformation and Creative Industries
- Media, Cultural, and Entertainment Economics
- Technology-enabled Business Models and Strategies
The journal encourages interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral research that bridges theory and practice, particularly studies that explore the managerial, economic, and technological dimensions of creativity and innovation in global contexts.
Publication Frequency and Call for papers
Starting in 2026, the journal’s publication frequency will increase from two to three issues per year, published approximately as follows:
- April (covering January–April, Issue 1)
Call for papers: December of the previous year to 10 March - August (covering May–August, Issue 2)
Call for papers: April to 10 July - December (covering September–December, Issue 3)
Call for papers: August to 10 November
From 2026 onward, all issues will be published entirely in English in electronic format, and each published article will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
Blind Peer Review Policy
The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another.
To facilitate this process, authors must submit the following files separately:
- Title Page (with author details)
This file must include the article title, authors’ names, institutional affiliations, acknowledgments, any Declaration of Interest, and the complete contact details of the corresponding author (including an email address). - Main Manuscript (without author details)
The main document—including text, references, tables, figures, and acknowledgments—must not contain any information that identifies the author(s).
Types of Papers
Full Research Articles
- Present original or carefully investigated research findings
- Research methods must be described in sufficient detail to allow verification
- Recommended length: 5,000–8,000 words
All manuscripts submitted must:
- Be original, plagiarism-free, and not under review or published elsewhere
- Comply with the journal’s submission guidelines and APA 7th edition style
- Undergo review by three external reviewers from institutions different from those of the author(s), using a double-blind review system
All accepted manuscripts are copyrighted by Assumption University. Reproduction in whole or in part requires written permission. Except for typographical or production errors, the authors bear full responsibility for the content of their articles.
Article Content Selection Policy
The Editorial Board prioritizes submissions in business, economics, and related fields.
Final decisions on content selection rest solely with the Editor-in-Chief, based on scholarly merit, relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal’s aims and scope.
Self-Citation Restriction Policy
Self-citation refers to citing an author’s own previously published works. While reasonable self-citation is permitted, excessive self-citation raises concerns related to research integrity and originality.
The journal enforces the following limits:
- Maximum 15% self-citation per author
- Maximum 20% combined self-citation for co-authors
- Maximum 15% citation of articles from this journal
Manuscripts exceeding these limits, as detected by reference-checking software, will be desk-rejected without further review.
Submission Procedure
Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format via the journal’s online submission system:

Authors must register, log in, and select “Make a New Submission.”
Each submission must include:
- The manuscript files
- A cover letter briefly explaining the article’s suitability for the journal and confirming that “the article has not been previously published and is not under review elsewhere”
All submissions must comply fully with the journal’s submission guidelines.

Review Policy
All submissions undergo a two-stage evaluation process:
- Editorial Screening
The editorial team assesses submissions for relevance, scholarly quality, ethical compliance, and adherence to journal guidelines. Submissions that do not meet these criteria are rejected at this stage. - External Peer Review
Submissions passing editorial screening are sent to external reviewers. Only manuscripts that are well-structured, written in proficient academic English, grounded in relevant literature, and compliant with formatting standards proceed to peer review.
Final acceptance decisions are made solely by the Editor-in-Chief, regardless of peer review outcomes.
The Editorial Board upholds principles of equity, diversity, and academic integrity, without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, or institutional affiliation.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
The journal is open access and freely available online. No Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied.
The APC policy has been in effect since 2026. There are no additional charges based on article length, figures, or supplementary materials.
No Submission Fee
There is no submission fee, regardless of whether a manuscript is rejected, reviewed, or accepted.
