Abstract

In contemporary political philosophy, Marxism is often considered at odds with Postmodernism. Marxists often charge postmodernists with nihilism and obscurism, and a lack of commitment to society. This paper will address these charges and show the contribution which Postmodernism can make to Marxism and the addressing of social
problems.
